Shri A. K. Mishra is the senior-most member of the Chambers. He is responsible for Central Excise, Customs, Service Tax and GST matters, including drafting and appearances before the Tribunal and other Departmental authorities.
Before starting private practice as a tax consultant in 2001, he was working in the Customs, Central Excise & Service Tax department for more than 20 years in various formations. During his career as a Government Servant, he gained practical experience in all areas pertaining to indirect taxation. He has tremendous goodwill at the Bar as well as within the Department for his high ethical standards, quality work, humility and transparency in all his dealings. He answers all queries and litigations of clients involving indirect tax issues. He has to his credit, appearances as a litigator in various judicial fora and has successfully handled innumerable cases that have been widely reported. He has also worked with several journals as an associate editor contributing to the field of law.
Before establishing the Chambers, he was a partner at Piyush & Mishra Associates. He has advised various governments, state bodies and research centres on policy issues and their implementation
Mr. Abhas Mishra is the founder of the Chambers. An alumnus of Pune University, he was called to the Bar in 2010 by the Bar Council of Delhi. He has several years of experience in handling civil, criminal and indirect tax litigation. Before venturing into independent practice he was associated with renowned senior and dynamic members of the Bar like Sh. Arvind K. Nigam and Sh. Pradeep Jain where he was exposed to multifarious and intricate legal issues in several high profile cases. Since then, he has developed a flourishing practice with an in-depth understanding of the legal principles and an innate ability to interpret the same.
He is keen to give back to the community and has been associated with various programmes and institutions to impart knowledge and support the cause of education. He has worked as a Youth Professional Ambassador for Teach For India and as a Part Time Teacher for underprivileged children with Make A Difference. He has delivered lectures and talks in various local and international conferences and also conducted training workshops for moot-court and client counselling at collegiate level.
He acts a trained Mediator for the Delhi High Court Mediation Centre for conflict resolution and as a panel counsel for the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee and regularly provides legal-aid, counselling and drafting services to the jail inmates who need to approach the High Court of Delhi or need help in pursuing the same.

Mr. Tarun is a young and dynamic counsel with a decade of litigation experience. He regularly appears before the Hon'ble Delhi High Court, Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT), Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal (DRAT), National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), District Consumer Forums, State Commission, National Commission and various other District Courts in Delhi. He has a good command on recent enactments like the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. He has filed various petitions under Section 7 and Section 9 of the said Code before the NCLT and NCLAT apart from filing the petitions on behalf of the financial creditor as well as operation creditor, Mr. Khanna has also defended cases against the corporate debtors.
On 31.08.2018, Mr. Khanna was appointed by the High Commission of Nigeria, Embassy, India to represent them in the various Courts as well as Jails and also been authorized to work for the “All India Nigeria Student and Community Association-New Delhi” (AINSCA-D) on their behalf.
Apart from litigation, Mr. Khanna has also participated in multiple Live Debates in various 24x7 News Channels on various occasions in some highlighted legal issues.

Surabhi Sinha is an out-house associate of the Chambers of Abhas Mishra. She graduated in law in 2009 from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS) and then joined the office of Mr. K.K. Anand, Advocate before being associated with us. She can be commonly seen in high stake indirect tax matters before the various benches of CESTAT across the nation and has multiple reported judgements in her name.
